PUR HOT MELT
A type of polyurethane adhesive product in which a chemical rather than a physical process takes place. It is used when permanent adhesion is required. It has a much higher bond strength after crosslinking than conventional hot melts, and is applicable to a wider range of surfaces.
HOT MELT METALLOCENE OR POLYOLEFIN
It is one of those with the lowest density. They do not produce threads, do not produce impurities in the equipment or odours and provide greater resistance to oleophilic inks. With this type of industrial glue what we are achieving is that with less product we obtain the best results. It is very useful when we carry out jobs that require greater precision.
WATER-BASED GLUES
This is one of the adhesive products that gives the best results in the furniture, packaging, labelling and graphic arts sectors. Our adhesive glues are transparent when they dry, making them ideal when a perfect result is required.
HOT MELT PSA
It is a widely used adhesive from industries such as sanitary, automotive or labelling, thanks to its versatility. It is pressure sensitive giving a very good degree of adhesion on difficult surfaces.
HOT MELT GLUE STICK
These are adhesive products that can be used in guns. Some of the materials where these glue sticks work best are glass, metal or wood.
ANIMAL GELATINE
Adhesive that melts when mixed with water at 60 %, of animal origin, widely used in the lining of boxes, tobacco, textile, manufacture of covers in graphic arts, bookbinding, and in general in paper and cardboard handling.
HOT MELT EVA
It is one of the most widely used adhesive products in the industry. One of the main advantages is its cost, the most economical among the hot melt products.
TYPES OF HOT MELT ADHESIVES
HOT-MELT ADHESIVES
Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA): one of the most widely used industrial adhesives for packaging products and goods. Economical, and the basis for the composition of hot melt adhesives. Application temperature from 120°C.
Pressure sensitive adhesives (PSA): Also known as self-adhesives. High degree of adhesion when pressure is applied alone.
➞ Polyolefins: Cleaner, higher performance and higher thermal resistance. Their versatility makes them the hot melt adhesive component of the future.
REACTIVE ADHESIVES
Polyurethane (PUR): In contrast to other hot melt adhesives, these are chemically cured. Cross-linking occurs through the absorption of moisture. It has an 80% cure time between 24 and 48 hours after application, and 100% cure time about one week after application.
Suitable for interior and exterior use thanks to its resistance to humidity.
